Lappe Nordic Ski Club – End of Year Celebration
To celebrate an amazing and busy ski season for our club, we would like to see all club members come out to Lappe Ski Centre this coming Saturday April 11th for a ski, sauna, food and awards!
We will be providing BBQ sausages and some beverages. In addition, it would be wonderful if families could bring a side or dessert to share! Willow Springs will not be open. Everything starts at 11 AM for the skiing fun with lunch available starting at 12:30 PM and awards will begin around 1:30 PM.
*Please note that we have adjusted the schedule to accommodate families interested in trying the Bruno’s Cup Biathlon event at Kamview Nordic Centre also scheduled for Saturday April 11th starting at 10 AM. Registration and information for Bruno’s Cup is on Zone 4 and closes April 9th : https://zone4.ca/register.
Please come out to Lappe Ski Centre following the event to enjoy our end of season celebration 🙂
******LAPPE EQUIPMENT RENTAL RETURN THIS SATURDAY APRIL 11TH
12 – 1 PM********
In addition, please consider our Lappe Ski Clean & Summer Wax Service (see poster below) for your rental and personal equipment! This program raises money for our club programs and athletes! It also saves you the hassle of cleaning that sticky klister and gooey hard wax off your skis and preps them for storage over the summer months.
Please write your name, contact number and email and attach it to the skis before handing them off to someone in the Lappe Waxing Trailer. We will arrange return/pick up by end of April/early May and connect with you regarding the details :))
