ONTARIO CUP #2 / World Junior Trials

The second race of the provincial Ontario Cup series to be held in conjunction with the Nordiq Canada Trials races.  Hosted by LSNA at Lappe Ski Centre.  This event will bring in the top Local, Provincial and National Athletes aiming to qualify for Team Canada at the World Junior & U23 Championships.

Thursday, January 2, 2025 – Sprint Classic Technique (Trials FIS category)

  • Qualifier 1.3 km, Open/U20 Heats

Friday, January 3, 2025 – Mass Start Classic (All categories)

  • Trials FIS: 20 km

  • OCUP: U18/U16/Open (non FIS) – 7.5 km

  • OCUP: U14 – 3.75 km

Saturday, January 4, 2025 – King’s Court Sprints Free Technique (OCup category)

  • OCUP: U18/U16/U14 – 1 km

  • OCUP: Open (non FIS) – 1 km – Qualifier only

Sunday January 5, 2025 – Interval Start Free Technique (All categories)

  • Trials FIS: 10 km

  • OCUP: U18 – 10 km (seeded together with, but behind Trials categories)

  • OCUP: U16/Open (non FIS) – 7.5 km

  • OCUP: U14 – 3.75 km
